Outsource Payroll Company guide
Payroll termination and access coordination checklist
Coordinate payroll departure records with system-access removal while keeping employment decisions with the responsible owner.
Payroll handoff readiness check
Use this table before a provider or Filipino payroll support worker receives access.
| Work area | Ready to hand off when | Owner check |
|---|---|---|
| Authority | The departure instruction has an approved source. | The responsible owner confirms effective date. |
| Payroll | Final-pay inputs and open changes are listed. | The owner decides treatment. |
| Access | Each system removal has an owner and timestamp. | The system owner confirms closure. |
Connect two workflows without collapsing them
A departure can require payroll preparation and access removal, but the two controls have different owners. Record the authorized departure source and effective date, then create linked work items for final-pay inputs, provider notification, file access, and system accounts.
A support specialist can prepare the checklist and request confirmations. They should not treat a manager message, an unanswered ticket, or a calendar event as authority to make an employment decision.
- Name the departure authority.
- List payroll-impacting inputs.
- List accounts and systems.
- Capture separate confirmations.
Close with timestamps
For each access item, record who removed it and when. For payroll, record the owner’s treatment decision and any follow-up. Keeping those records separate makes a later review much easier.
Review the checklist after the cycle so unfinished access or payroll questions do not disappear into the closed ticket.
Copy-ready brief
Payroll support role brief

- Role: termination payroll and access checklist support
- Output: linked departure and removal tracker
- Boundary: no employment-status or final-pay decision
