Make the question smaller
An employee asking about a payslip does not necessarily need a full employee file copied into the support log. Capture the minimum identifier, pay period, question category, and approved source needed to route the issue.
Routine status or document-location replies can use approved language. Questions about amount, tax, deductions, benefits, garnishments, or bank details require the payroll owner, even when the employee is asking for a quick answer.
